We are absolutely delighted to have already welcomed our first guests of 2024, who have enjoyed the remarkable views, winter walks, dark skies and of course the fantastic architecture of The Grain Store.

We are feeling that there’s plenty to get excited about for 2024; festivals a plenty, buzzing local towns, creative fairs and exhibitions, exploring new walking routes, and watching the spring colours bloom in our brand new wildflower garden.

Welcoming our guests

Making special lifelong memories is what we hope all our guests get to do whilst staying at The Grain Store. We love welcoming new guests and feel honoured that many return, again and again! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, and we look forward to welcoming you soon.

The Studio

Along with our beautiful Grain Store, we are now offering The Studio, a self-contained luxury apartment for two. The space can be booked by itself, perfect for a writers retreat, or in addition to The Grain Store, so the whole family can stay. Charleston Festival

Stay with us and visit the Charleston Festival for their 35th anniversary festival this year. Charleston Festival brings together today’s most exciting artists, thinkers and changemakers to engage with art and ideas. Over two weeks (16th - 27th May), the festival invites visitors to imagine the world differently through a rich programme of over 50 talks and performances featuring over 100 speakers.

Glyndebourne Opera Summer Festival

Each summer from May to August, Glyndebourne host a season of world-class opera where audiences enjoy the thrill of live performances in the state-of-the-art indoor auditorium. Picnic or fine dine, dress up and immerse yourself in the experience. We can offer picnics to take along to make your visit even more special, so all there is for you to do is relax and enjoy yourself.

Our Garden

We are so excited to see the garden wake up after its hibernation during these winter months. The garden is young but almost established now, and is enjoyed by everyone that visits. It is glorious to watch the spring blossoms appear, and how the colours change year round. We can not believe that we will be celebrating four years of welcoming wonderful guests to The Grain Store in April. We are preparing some birthday celebration surprises for our up coming guests including a new BBQ for alfresco dining for those warm balmy evenings - trust us they are coming!
