Lewes Community Connections: A spotlight on the local businesses vital to The Grain Store

We’re in this together. It’s a mantra that’s been used throughout the Coronavirus pandemic and one that rings true to the ethos of The Grain Store.

From the use of regionally sourced materials for much of our building design to working with local suppliers to provide an authentic East Sussex experience for our guests, we believe in the power of the local community.

We know that to emerge from this situation strongly, people, neighbours, families, businesses and communities will need to band together, support one another and rebuild from the ground up.

That’s why we wanted to put a spotlight on the many wonderful partners we work with in the Lewes community and the wider East Sussex area.

The body wash, hand wash and body lotion in the bathrooms come from this small batch distiller in Lewes. They make natural scents and balms from flowers, bark, leaves, roots, blossom and moss that they grow or pick in the wild in Sussex, Cyprus and Scotland.
