Anni Townend
Creator of, and Collaborator at, The Grain Store Lewes
The creation of The Grain Store Lewes is the culmination of a life-long dream for Anni. Having fallen in love with the South Downs National Park where she lives, Anni wanted to create an inclusive and multi-purpose collaboration space where people can come together to draw on the restorative energy of the Downs.
Anni is passionate about collaboration and the environment, championing local partnerships in the East Sussex community and working with local and eco-friendly suppliers wherever possible.
Simone Thorn
House Manager
Simone looks after all of our guests, ensuring they have the best stay possible.
She loves all things outside and nature related. She’s a Forest School Leader, and, when not at The Grain Store Lewes, you’ll find her walking her dogs locally on the beautiful South Downs.
Sam Porter-Hardy
Sam has always had a passion for nature. Growing up in the East Anglian countryside, he spent as much time as he could outside, getting his hands in the soil. Sam and his team (Oisin & Louis) work tirelessly to curate our garden into the serene space guests enjoy today.
