This former grain storage house has been converted to the highest standard into a luxury photoshoot location and holiday accommodation. Elegant finishing touches and sleek design proudly accentuate the original architectural features, including The Grain Store’s high ceiling.
The location includes a variety of spaces to inspire the imagination, including a cosy mezzanine area, large open-plan living space and modern kitchen, three sizeable bedrooms and three beautifully presented bathrooms. Nestled against the backdrop of the South Downs National Park, it makes for jaw-dropping scenery.

Information about the space
One of the most incredible photoshoot locations in the UK, we’re situated in the heart of the South Downs National Park, easily accessible from London, Brighton and Lewes.

The Grain Store comprises of 145 square metres, including:
One en-suite double bedroom with wet-room
One south-facing double bedroom with an adjacent bathroom
One twin room with an adjacent shower room
Large open-plan living, kitchen and dining area with south-facing windows
Mezzanine level leading to terrace balcony with views of the South Downs
Private garden and courtyard with seating area and views of the Downs
What to expect for your shoot?
Exclusive use of The Grain Store building and surrounding outside spaces for up to 10 people
Support from Simone in the lead-up and on the day
On-site parking for five vehicles, as well as two electric charging points
Fairtrade tea and coffee and filtered tap water
Catering for up to 10 people - provided at an additional cost
A light and spacious setting for your photographs and filming

Depending on the event type, we can host 10 - 20 people.
We can accommodate groups of up to 10 seated for dinners, meetings, and sit-down events.
We can accommodate stand-up events of up to 20 people for the day.

Up to five cars can be parked at The Grain Store. However, if you require more parking please enquire.

Yes, there are two electric vehicle charge points.

There are bus stops on both sides of the A27 at the bottom of the hill, just a few minutes walk from The Grain Store. From these stops, you can catch buses on the Regency Route, which can get you to Brighton and Lewes.

We are ten minutes drive from Lewes train station, which is well served by minicabs during working hours. We can also arrange taxis by prior notice to meet guests from a particular train (charged at cost).

Lunch and refreshments can be supplied upon request (please enquire).

Meetings and event bookings are generally for daytime hire only. However, we welcome the opportunity to discuss your requirements, so do please get in touch. If you would like our list of suggested local accommodation providers, do ask when booking with us.
