Albourne Estate Wine
Many people don’t know that East Sussex is home to the vast majority of England’s award-winning wineries.
As its name suggests, this wine is made of selected base wines from multiple vintages to produce an approachable and immediately enjoyable style. Generous and soft on the palate, this wine is open and expressive, exhibiting delightful panettone-like aromas of sweet baked bread, dried apricots, nuts and candied citrus peels.

Brighton Permaculture Trust
Since 2003, the Brighton Permaculture Trust has helped schools and communities across Sussex plant more than 130 orchards, and believe in reducing waste whilst inspiring people and planet to flourish.
In recent years, with the help of volunteers, they have picked or received over 30 tonnes per year of Sussex fruit that might otherwise have gone to waste. and processed it into products including:
Apple and pear juice, delicious and nutritious fresh juice as well as a pasteurised juice that can be kept in the cupboard until you want to enjoy it.
Jams, chutneys and preserves, a seasonal range based on what can be harvested
These products are unique in their freshness, truly local in production, and are made with the help volunteers in public view, contributing to their educational aims.

WiDEYE
Their story began in Tarifa, Spain, with sun, wind, and surfing. Georgie and Lawrence created plant-based products, which became a popular natural alternative to help protect and revive skin from natures beautiful but harsh conditions.
Now based in Rye, East Sussex, all of the products are made locally, and sold in stores along the south coast, maintaining their strong connection with the ocean.
The key belief is that natural, ethical beauty products could and should be affordable, gender neutral and appeal to all age groups.

Piglet In Bed
Created in a West Sussex garden shed in 2017, this collection has grown from strength to strength, and now features an amazing selection of beautiful, low-maintenance bedding, sleepwear and homewares. All made from sustainably sourced natural materials, our piglet bedding is a firm favourite with our guests. We use this in the summer months when we can line dry, as part of our eco-ethos. As well as being exceptionally soft, linen's natural long fibres help to regulate your body temperature as you sleep with its breathability and high moisture absorbency. Linen is perfect for every season - fresh in the summer and warm in the winter. Another great quality of linen bedding is that it gets softer and softer with wear.
If you like it so much you want to take it home, we can offer you a Grain Store exclusive discount. Ask Becca for more information.
