Located in the heart of the Sussex countryside and accessible from Lewes, Brighton and London. The Grain Store accommodates groups of up to 10 people for seated events, dinners, and meetings.

We have hosted all types of businesses and individuals at The Grain Store including Lewes FC, John Lewis, Coolstays and Wild Nutrition. We tend to attract like-minded businesses, local community members and those looking for something unique and special.

The Grain Store is a tranquil place to reconnect and re-energise your team or host a meeting. We have ample room, including cosy nooks and open spaces for you to do group work, split off into smaller groups or individually. We also have a large private garden and courtyard with a seating area and BBQ. Located amongst the beautiful backdrop of the picturesque rolling hills in the South Downs provides an environment for you to be inspired, grow and breathe.

Easy to get to

If you are local you’ll know we are just a short drive out of Lewes, located on the South Downs Way. Coming from further afield? We are an easy ten-minute drive from Lewes train station, which is well served by minicabs during working hours. We can also help with arranging taxis by prior notice to meet guests from a particular train. Or you have the option of hopping on bus number 28 or 29 which will take you within short walking distance of The Grain Store. We have onsite parking for up to five cars, including one electric car recharge port.

We are also only one hour ten minutes from London by train. Step outside the hustle and bustle of the everyday and immerse yourselves in an environment that inspires your teams and fuels blue-sky thinking.

We have teamed up with some amazing local businesses and suppliers to cater for your meeting or event at The Grain Store. Lunch and refreshments can be supplied upon request and tailored to your group’s needs. We partner with Pure Brunch Box and Field Food, two local food delivery services as well as Caccia & Tails who create delectable Italian favorites. We also have an amazing local baker who can make delicious breads and cakes.

Really wanting to impress and take your meeting to the next level? Why not celebrate in style with our private Chef Richard Falk with a bespoke and delightful dining experience? Chef Richard is passionate about using local produce and describes his style as ‘ingredient-led, low-intervention cooking.’ A philosophy we wholeheartedly embrace at The Grain Store as sustainability is very important to us.
